Entry 2010 - 55 - "Remember the Times"
I don't think I ever posted this official, logo branded, sony Cybershot picture of these Michael Jackson Shoes (just the cellphone pic entry from feb). Today seemed like the very best day to post the best quality picture of them.
I'm working in an office setting, a cubicle. I can hear The King of Pop, young and old and forever all day through music. Its like the music continously poured out

around and through co-workers, students, and cubicles.
Entry 2010 - 54 - "Monster Frank"
"Monster Frank" - Doctor's Frankenstein's Monster (Thanks Mary Shelley)
Started it June 23rd (while watching Bravo's Work of Art, good show too) and finished it 2nite, June 24th. Looks cool to me, good comic style for whole comp.
Might do Dracula or the Mummy next, not sure. Just trying to get lost in art above all else right now.

Entry 2010 - 53 - "6 pc. Jazz Cafe"
Its been almost a month now since I was able to hang 6 pieces of my work in Aluette's Jazz Cafe (on Calhoun Street). They made it through a month of Piccolo Spoleto & are continue to be up.
All 6 originally rejected my 2 different competitions, were loved by the owners of the cafe. Although she did not buy the pieces, she has allowed me to price each piece.

Entry 2010 - 50 - "For Leah Loney"
Created upon the request of Ms. Leah Loney. She said all she wanted was the characters Jack Skellington & Sally and for me to go all out. So instead of Sally struggling to piece her limbs back on, she's holding out her heart.
(Size 8)
Aprox. Work Time - 3wks
1. Toe: Jack Skellington holding a smoldering jack-a-lantern with a yellow moon and dark sky. The Sides & Back: Sally's patchwork dress pattern (Right Shoe)
2. Toe: Sally gripping her own heart with sewing needles within and open chest on a pink gradient. The Sides & Back: The carved out pumpkin Jack's holding (Left Shoe)

Entry 2010 - 47 - "Suite Extinction"
For an Ad Design Class at TTC, we had to design ads for local & existing businesses. First project was supposed to be b/w only with sizes up to us. I made 4, one's an illustration.
I chose the now extincted local sneaker boutique, Suite Sole. I wanted to create a concept that played off their name; an upscale, hotel name & interior store aesthetic with a more urban but limited product.
Idea* Cool sneakers served on silver platters & a Sneaker being the center of the civilization
The first, third, & fourth are also available in color.
