Revisiting The Blue Book Once Again! To add digital color to a great sketch I did in the infamous blue book from Borders.

Sketch features three characters I made up. An interactive, pro-emotion shoulder plate, a facially tattooed thief/daredevil and a legendary/mythological giant blue bird named Roc.

Here's a (Graphic Design - InDesign project) piece, it was done in an InDesign class at Tech. We had to pick a favorite magazine and recreate it, its logo, and makeup an article/spotlight for it.

All we had to make was a cover and spread. The main color scheme was pulled from his son's jacket (purple, aqua, and black)

I chose The American LEGACY, which is catered to the advancement of African-Americans through their collective and respective history.

I wanted to do a Southern Issue which spoke for the civil rights movement. I made up a article feature for Cleveland Sellars (Civil Rights Activist, Protested during/at the Orangeburg Massacre and is now the President of Vorhees College in Denmark, SC).

I also had the privilege of giving Sellars a copy of my Project.

Entry 2010 - 39 - Quod Sum Eris

After graduating last Friday and starting my first fulltime job the Monday of the same week, I've been too busy to post anything but I have been drawing and starting Photoshop projects.

I recently did a tshirt design for my mother and her kingergarten classes program. It features sketches of The Wiz characters that I scanned and colored/painted Photoshop.

When i get the chance, I'm gonna try and get more of my recent stuff up; at least 2 posts a day after this post.
